What did I do wrong with this causal guy?

We set up a meeting at a motel and I walked over in -5 degree weather to meet him and when he finally showed up 20 mins late he was dressed in common American clothing and an ugly Baseball cap despite telling me he was a farmer and would wear an Akubra for me. We went back but despite his best efforts and also on my part for sex. I felt zero chemistry between us. I got him off but nothing worked with me. I understand its the best and not the fashion but my heart was clearly not in it. Am I out of practice? I felt broken
