At what age is a child old enough to decide if they want to see their parents?

Ive gone through something simular to this and most states for a child to make the choice the age is 13 years old but if you go to a mediator he has the authority to choose who gets the kids most all states will go with the bio parents just agree to random drug test and suprise visits take parenting class which is only a few hrs on your own and that will show all involved that u are serious an willing to do anything they want to regain full custody of your kids and if you are old enough you could try to get custody of them also good luck its a long hard battle but just keep your head up I fought for mine for 3 yrs an i just won full custody last wk
