Sounds like a good start to me! I love how you took such a simple and over done idea and twisted it slightly to make it fun and dark. My only critique would be to set your priorities straight and to make sure your not skipping around when it comes to your intro. Would you rather introduce your setting first, and then make the characters come in, or the other way around? I had to read it twice through to understand some of the concepts fully. The term "drink" indicates that the question being asked has been asked so often that it needs to be let go and go on to the next question. Kind of rude, but it gets the point across without getting in trouble with the community watch dogs... Why do I only like girls who are uninterested in me, while I am not physically attracted to the ones who are?

OK so it seems that I have always been attracted to girls that either had no interest in me or only wanted to be friends. Meanwhile the girls who are CLEARLY attracted to me, I would rather remain friends with them because I don't have a physical attraction or felt an intimate connection. My mom needed me to rent a motel room for her because she didn't have an id or license, and the lights got shut off at her house because she didn't pay the bill. I would go across town to do that, which was about everyday for a week. So to get to the point, the kids are loud, and wouldn't listen, people complained, and the front office complained, they were close to throwing them put (note that this was all happening around 1:00 in the morning.) Right after that my sister wanted me to go the front office and pay them 5$ to turn the wifi on, and I told her not right now, it wasn't a good time, so she being spoiled, makes her faces, and everytime she dose my mom automatically becomes defencesive, so I tell her "fine I'll go pay the thing" and she was like "no forget it" and I said I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this" so then she swipes the money out of my hand, and says all this crap, ((any how they have both been mad about that for days))) is that normal? SHOULD I STAY, OR SHOULD I GO?

Ok, so I have been with my boyfriend for about 5 years. We met in Ohio and after about a year or dating he moved in with me. He has a 4 year old son with someone else. We lived together for a year and then split up and he stayed in Ohio and I moved back to New York. We decided to get back together and chose to move to Atlanta. I worked mad overtime to get us an apartment in Atlanta and brought him down and we were there 6 months before he started galavanting off to California to try and get some contacts...he is an aspiring music producer....and he had a friend already living there. He would go, stay two weeks and come back. This went on for about 2 months before I had a breakdown and ended up in the hospital. I lost my job once I got out of the hospital, and his friend offered to put us up out in California until we could get on our feet. So I chose to come out to California...no job waiting, no prospects, didn't know anyone. I went out on a leap of faith and ended up in California. His friend was a newleywed of all things and they had a one bedroom apartment which the 4 of us shared for about 6 months before things got really weird. They kicked us out because they said the landlord was threatening to evict them because there were too many people living in the apartment. Ok, understandable, but neither of us had jobs (my father was sending money and I was giving it to them to help out with the bills while we looked for jobs) and so now we were homeless...We slept under bridges together and slummed until finally we had to go to a shelter. While at the shelter, I was informed that I was approved for unemployment, so me and him stayed in a motel while we looked for work. I saved enough and bought him a car, and bought myself a car as well. He found work as a car sales man and I got temp work. We got into an apartment, on the money that I saved. So lets recap...I have been homeless with him, bought a car for him, put him up in two apartments so far, and now he has lost his job. There is no money coming in and I have landed my dream job. I bought a new car and am about to get myself out of the debt hole, but he is not bringing in any money and he just got approved for unemployment. I am just tired of carrying him. I want to leave him, but do not want to kick a man while he is down? The lease is in both of our names, and at this point, I just want to move out and get another apartment and move on with my life. It just seems like his head is in the clouds and not here on earth where I need him to be to help me. Any suggesstions? Thanks for reading..I know it is long winded....

The police will not get involved cause they would see this as a civil matter. I would have the stuff ready and sent a message that you will be home at say at 7:00 and if they did not pick it up by 9:00 there would be one more chance and if was not gone by then, then to the dumpster it would go. She could then sue you in small claims, but you can also sue her for the back rent and any thing you are out in cleaning up the mess and for any damage she caused.

Help me please! I am terrified of my brother!?

I understand it it normal to have an occasional brawl and all but he is very dangerous. I am 14 almost 15 and he is 16 going on 17. He is a junior in high school and ever sine I could remember he has been incredibly abusive to me and my sister. I really have to recommend Carvin's Acoustic Cobalt series. Their lowest model is about $490, fits right in your price range. Carvin operates their own factories to make their guitars, aka they sell direct, as opposed to retailing, so their guitars cost much less than they're worth. I have an upper range Cobalt and it's the best acoustic guitar I've ever played. It obviously won't compete with a high end Martin, but these guitars really are high up there. Definitely much better than any $500 guitar you'll find at guitar center. I seriously recommend you check them out.

I am a 26 year old female and I would like some advice for preparing to join the army and hopefully rotc. There is an argument that God is by definition outside of the natural world, therefore science the study of the natural world is inadequate to study God. I'm a motel mgr. and one of my long term occupants was beaten up by her boyfriend. She called the cops. The police arrived when I was walking the lot making my rounds after closing. The first officer that arrived asked who I was. I told him "I'm the manager" he said "Go back to your office". I said, " I have to make my rounds first". He didn't reply with any kind of answer and i walked on. I stayed 48 feet from the so called scene. Which was inside the room with the door closed. The officers were knocking on the door trying to get the perp to open the door. They asked the victim for her key, she said I don't have it. One of the officers said, I will go to the office to see if the mgr. has a key, the officer who I spoke to originally said "the mgr. is down there"pointing in my direction. He then yelled down to me and asked if I had my keys on me. I said yes i do. He sent the other officer to get them. I showed him wich key it was and explained how to open the door. He brought the keys back to me. A minute later the first officer yelled down to me again, "do you have a deadbolt key on your keys by any chance?" I said yes I do, do you need it? He sent the other officer down again to get them from me. I showed him wich key it was and in the middle of explaining to the officer that he was going to have to unlock the other lock again because they automaticlly lock, mind you, the officer was standing next to me the whole time i'm showing him the keys, the other officer yells at me to get away from the crime scene. I didnt know who he was yelling at until I looked up and seen him looking at me, I said "What? he said, I'm not going to tell you again, or you will be under arrest for interference with official acts. I replied " I'm giving him the keys you requested" he then said "thats it, and walked over to me and put my hands behind my back and told me I was under arrest for interference with official acts. I said I didn't do anything, I was giving him the keys u asked for. He said "I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the first time I told you to go to your office". "I don't need your keys, i was just being nice asking for them, I can kick the door in if I want"! He handcuffed me and sat me down closer to the scene. Afterwards, he took the handcuffs off of me and wrote me a citation. I have witnesses to the whole incident. I have taken written statements from any and all witnesses. I went to the preliminary hearing and plead not guilty, because I dont think I am. If he was going to arrest me then why didn't he do it when I told him I had to make my rounds, why didn't he say " thats it, your under arrest at that moment"? My other question is this,- On my ticket he wrote my address down as the victims address. He asked me what unit was the Mgr.'s unit, I told him #6, he wrote down on my ticket that I lived in unit #28-the victims unit. Can this citation/tickey be dismissed or thrown out? Because he wrote down the wrong unit that I live in?

This is the big question, I guess. So, here are my options. I love law. I love law, and politics, and everything like that. I know that if I really commit to being an attorney, I can make it big, And when I say big, I mean BIG. But the hours are long, the work is hard and you have no free time. But what I'm really worried about is love. Do I put off socializing and trying to find "the one" while I make my career doing what I love and make the big bucks to live the posh life with the hopes that love will happen along the way? It is love after all. A Christian who is really a Christian in their spirit will not be left behind. There are however many 'so called' christians who think they are Christian but won't make it. Problem w/ local theater, some insight?

I'm going to apologize right now for the length of this one. Okay, so the story goes my brother wqas crazy shy, but he found this little tiny theater program that put on plays in this 10 by 10 foot theater, and my brother found his love for drama in it, along with his confidance. A few more people join the theater, along with some parents, it gets a little bigger and they move to aan old movie theater, where they keep on putting on productions, the parents run the concessions and the place starts making a hundred bucks or so on every show they put on, the community is good with it.It is a volenteer program, and some realy great kids join, like my bother to find their confidance, and do. Then a pair of really creepy adults Join. The theater was started by Chuck and megan, who are very nice, but have no creep-o-meter what so ever. Creepy guy # one takes over tech stuff, and brings with him a bunch of creepy 15 year old kids who do tech as well, it starts to change the feel of the theater a little, but not bad since they were behind the scenes, problem being if you were to volenteer to do tech now, you had to pass creepy guy's assesment of you, and you haad no choice but to work with his set of obnoxious creeples. Now creepy guy # 2 shows up. He is a rich old dude, and he starts taking over concessions, what were chips and candy are now candy bar and wine. A kid is charged twice as much for a candy bar as an adult girl is. His little set of sluts starts hanging out smoking in front of the theater, getting rid of the family feel of the theater completly. Creepy guy # 2 starts calling it his theater, and now almost all of the good kids that were in the program have now dropped out because of the 2 creepy guys. Now, creepy guy #1 drops away from the theater because Chuck and megan get mad at him, taking with him the house crew, all the lights that the theater owned, and rocky. This was the first move in the right direction for the theater. Now, here is where my brother offers to run the theater for the next year, do the bills and such for them, and I offer to take over tech for them. I know this seems like we were offering to replace creeepy guy one, but our intentions are simply to help the theater, and we are not aiming for a monoply over the theater like they are. When my bro and I told chuck and megan that we would like to step in, they said yes, certainly. And we told them, along w/ several members of the community, that creepy guy needed to go, along with his alcohol and smoking sluts, and they said that they didn't think it would be that big a deal if creepy guy # 2 stayed. Now, my brother graduates highschool, and having planned on working at the theater for a year, he has nothing to do, and is somewhat up a creek with out a paddle because he had always planned on doing this. The theater is falling apart and becoming an eyesore because chuck and megan won't work on it, an dall the while I have been watching from the sidelines, and now I'm wondering what I Should do. I feel like chuck and megan might listen to me, but not if I'm a lone voice. My brother has tried to tell them about their problems too, but we aren't enough. I'm travelling from wichita ks through the lower states down I-40 to san Diego with plans to stop at four corners then the grand canyon then into cali then returning home with a planned route through las vegas, salt lake city UT, yellowstone park in WY then through denver back to kansas. Warlord can be kind of hard because of the multi kills. Sleight of hand can be a challenge because of the fast kills after reloading. Light weight you have to get the first bloods and play CTF so if you don't play CTF you're screwed. In a way all of them are hard in their own way due to the specifications needed for the perk. There is no "hardest" perk to get because it mainly depends on your play style. A guy that likes to snipe will get scout alot easier than me because I like to rush but on the other hand I'll most likely get sleight of hand faster than him.

Wii remote cursor glitches like crazy on screen?

When i am on any game, or even in the Wii menu, when i point my wii remote to the TV screen, the little pointer hand (cursor) starts moving all around the screen. When i try to aim at a button on screen, the wii remote will start moving every where and i have no control over it. i tried unplugging the sensor bar, restarting the wii, changing the batteries, adjusting the sensor bar, trying a different controller, and changing the sensitivity of the controller but when i make the sensitivity low, the pointer disappears and reappears everywhere, almost like its completely gone. Do i need a new sensor bar? Please help!

Okay so its been a few days after the game and instead of reading reviews on the game, theres nothing but hate filled articles aimed towards the fact that there were a lot more Mexican supporters than US ones. i read about it online. you are supposed to sit down to make urself a smaller target and apparently it works pretty well. If they aim too high, it hits ur head and counts as a head shot. if it hits ur chest, you probably will be able to catch it because ur just sitting down and ur legs wont get hit a lot? what do you think of this method? i want to try it but i might look pretty stupid ;) also which way do you think is the best? sitting criss cross or on ur knees? or something different? if you sit criss cross, theres a better chance of you getting hit in the knees on the side but if you kneel, you are a larger target.

A midwife is similar to a doctor, however, there are slight medical differences. Midwives are able to provide prenatal care and delivery babies. However, most of them are not certified to do c-sections. I am am having a lot of trouble figuring out what to do. I am with a guy I love more than anything. now this may take a while as its a bit complicated. It presents a false dichotomy assuming there are only two options when there are clearly more. I mean there are thousands of religions and many more religions that could exist and the true religion if there is one could be any religion. There are an infinite number of possible true religions and if there is a god et/it may in fact want you to not believe in et/it and for every possible superstitious reward for any behavior there is another equally likely punishment for that same behavior.
